Grey Herringbone Elmira Wrap Cardigan

Well hey there!  I'm finally back to it with some sewing!  I actually have 4 or 5 other makes that I've been to lazy to blog about, and will hopefully get those posted once we're all moved in to the new house.

I made this Elmira Wrap Cardigan (from Seamwork) a couple months ago, mostly to go with my Cat-Lady Emery Dress and other sleeveless dresses so I could wear them in the colder months.  I used a grey herringbone knit I bought from imagine gnats (amazing shop - you should check it out!)

Overall, I really like this pattern!  I can definitely see myself making some more of these.  It fits really well, is the perfect length to go with a fit-n-flare dress, and I love the 3/4 sleeve.

The only issue I have with the whole thing is the construction process.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but having the front pieces double-layered and the back a single layer makes for some funny seaming... Maybe it was just the way I hemmed the bottom and neck-line of the back?  Eh, who knows!  When I get around to making another one, I'll see how it goes and maybe try something different.

Anywhoo, just a quick post to let you know that I am still sewing!  And like I said, I should be back to posting a bit more regularly once I get settled in the new place.
