Knit Skirt: Hollyburn/ Mabel Mash-Up

Once again, another clothing item that is like wearing secret pajamas!  This was a super simple combination of the Sewaholic Hollyburn Skirt (sans pockets) with the waistband coming from the Colette Mabel Miniskirt pattern.

There's not much else to really be said about this skirt, it was super simple!  I used the Hollyburn front-skirt pattern piece, cut twice on the fold ~ 2 pattern sizes smaller than if I were using a woven, serged the pieces together and added the waistband following the Mabel pattern.  Easy peasy!  To hem, I used a twin needle for a simple stretchy hem.

This skirt is so darn comfortable, I have to stop myself from wearing it every day!  Here's one last photo or the skirt, paired with a Seamwork Astoria sweater that I'll post about soon.
